Zero Cross-Room Confusion: Strict Consultation Stream Isolation & Station-Specific Queues

In multi-doctor clinics and busy healthcare centers, doctors often work in adjacent consultation rooms: Cabin 1, Cabin 2, Cabin 3, or specialized suites. When a patient checks in at the reception desk or books an appointment for Room 2, having their name accidentally appear in Room 1 causes severe operational confusion, incorrect patient call-outs, and wasted consultation time.

Medizys has deployed Strict Consultation Stream Isolation & Room-Specific Queue Routing across all provider dashboards.

1. Guaranteed Station-Specific Isolation

Every patient booked or added as a walk-in for a particular room stays exclusively in that room's consultation stream. Doctors in Cabin 2 will only see patients waiting for Cabin 2, with zero risk of patients from Cabin 1, Dr. Vijayan, or other suites appearing in their active queue.

2. Active Consultation Cockpit Guard

When a physician is actively examining a patient in their room, that consultation is strictly bounded to their active station. Other consultation rooms can call and treat their own patients concurrently without their screens interfering with each other.

3. Seamless Front-Desk and Doctor Coordination

Front desk coordinators, triage nurses, and doctors now operate on a unified, real-time queue hierarchy where station assignments are respected end-to-end—from check-in to final checkout.
